COVID-19 Information

Gulf Coast Dentistry is operating at full capacity now!

We are actively monitoring the rapidly evolving COVID-19 outbreak. We are staying up to date with the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and state and local health departments. Our practice has safeguards in place to protect our patients and our team members and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. To keep everyone safe, we are asking patients experiencing flu-like symptoms to call and reschedule their appointments. Below we have provided some other information and resources to assist you.

If your dentist is closed, we will be happy to see you and take care of you without a referral. We take precautions with all our patients and limit the number of patients we see hourly, we are limiting our waiting room volume and adhering to the CDC guidelines. We always use recommended protective personal equipment and sterilize every room and instrument after your visit. We are considered a health care provider and will remain open even if there is a stay at home law mandated by the Florida government. We are here to help you in this time of need, so we can limit or eliminate the need to visit your local ER due to dental pain, a broken tooth or facial swelling etc.

At Gulf Coast Dental we have taken stringent steps to insure our team is prescreened before entering our facility. In addition we have isolated and limited our rooms to ensure proper social distancing and extended the time between each rooms usage. We are asking our patients to prescreen outside the building prior to entry after which time they will be provided a mask and hand sanitizer.

Our facility is equipped with an active pure air scrubber by Aerus which is installed in the A/C system. Each of our treatment rooms are sterilized before new patients enter.

If you are a patient who is scheduled to be seen for a consultation, we are giving you the option to fill out your paperwork online or remotely in your car to minimize inter-personal contact.

Wishing you the best of health, Dr. James Hart and the entire team at Gulf Coast Dental
